Koneksyon was created to celebrate real Caribbean connection across islands, languages, culture, diaspora, and shared identity. The app is meant to feel warm, intentional, and rooted in community, not rushed, fake, or superficial.
Respect every member
Koneksyon is built for real connection, not disrespect. Members must treat each other with dignity, kindness, honesty, and maturity in profiles, conversations, and all interactions connected to the app.
Be authentic
Use accurate information and real photos that reflect who you are. Fake profiles, impersonation, stolen photos, misleading identity details, catfishing, and other deceptive conduct are not allowed on Koneksyon.
Protect safety
Any conduct that threatens another person's emotional, physical, sexual, digital, or financial safety may lead to restrictions, suspension, or permanent account removal.
Honor culture and diversity
Koneksyon celebrates Caribbean people, diaspora stories, multilingual expression, and cross-island connection. Respect all backgrounds, accents, cultures, beliefs, and traditions.
Harassment, hate, and abuse
Bullying, threats, stalking, intimidation, coercion, discrimination, hate speech, slurs, blackmail, sexual harassment, repeated unwanted contact, and degrading behavior are prohibited.
Inappropriate or explicit content
Do not upload or send explicit sexual content, exploitative nudity, graphic violence, hateful imagery, or content intended to shock, manipulate, or harm others.
Scams and financial solicitation
Do not ask users for money, gifts, investments, loans, account access, crypto transfers, or any item of value. Romance scams, phishing, deceptive promotion, and fraudulent behavior are strictly prohibited.
Privacy violations
Do not share private information without permission, including phone numbers, home addresses, workplace details, financial information, private screenshots, or intimate content shared to shame, expose, or pressure someone.
Spam or platform manipulation
Mass messaging, repetitive copy-paste outreach, misleading links, bot-like behavior, engagement farming, and attempts to manipulate discovery, trust signals, moderation systems, or connection systems are not allowed.
Commercial misuse
Legitimate professional, creator, networking, hiring, mentorship, sponsorship, and collaboration activity is permitted only within appropriate Opportunity, Event, or B-Konekt contexts and must be truthful, lawful, relevant, and non-spammy. Unauthorized mass advertising, deceptive recruiting, repetitive sales outreach, traffic-driving schemes, or commercial activity that ignores the selected context is prohibited.
Underage risk and exploitation
Koneksyon is for adults only. Any attempt to involve minors, misrepresent age, exploit vulnerable users, groom users, or engage in predatory behavior may result in immediate and permanent enforcement action.
Circumvention of enforcement
You may not attempt to bypass, evade, or undermine enforcement actions, including by creating new accounts after suspension or termination, using alternate identities, or attempting to regain access through unauthorized means.
Context integrity
Use Intentions, Opportunities, Events, K-Letters, and Pop & Konekt honestly and for their stated purposes. Do not disguise romantic or sexual solicitation as hiring, mentorship, collaboration, sponsorship, or networking. Do not disguise commercial solicitation, recruiting, financial schemes, or service sales as romantic interest or friendship.
Professional conduct
Users offering services, hiring, mentoring, sponsoring, collaborating, or promoting opportunities must provide truthful information and disclose material conditions, fees, commissions, referral relationships, sponsorships, conflicts of interest, and compensation where required. Fake jobs, fake sponsorships, deceptive portfolios, unpaid-work traps, exploitative recruiting, pyramid schemes, advance-fee schemes, unauthorized investment solicitations, and misleading business opportunities are prohibited.
Event conduct
Do not submit or promote fake or unauthorized Events, deceptive ticket links, incorrect organizer affiliations, unsafe or intentionally false locations, undisclosed age-restricted Events, duplicate spam Events, unauthorized copyrighted promotional material, or Events intended to scam, exploit, traffic, unlawfully recruit, harass, or endanger users. Organizers and attendees must comply with venue rules, consent requirements, age restrictions, local law, and Koneksyon policies.
K-Letters and blind-feature conduct
Do not use K-Letters or Blind Koneksyon for threats, sexual coercion, hate, harassment, scams, illegal content, block evasion, impersonation, or pressure to reveal identity. Do not attempt to identify, track, expose, publish, shame, or distribute another participant's private letter, message, or identity outside the permitted feature flow.
Reporting tools must be used honestly
Reports must be submitted in good faith. False, retaliatory, coordinated, discriminatory, extortionate, or knowingly misleading reports are prohibited. Abuse of reporting, blocking, or safety tools may lead to restrictions or account termination.
Precautionary safety action
A block, content removal, feed dismissal, reduced visibility, temporary restriction, room closure, or other safety action may be used as a precaution while an investigation is pending. Such action does not necessarily represent a final determination that a violation occurred, and Koneksyon may modify or maintain the action based on available information and safety risk.
These Guidelines are part of the Terms
These Community Guidelines are incorporated into and form part of Koneksyon's Terms of Service. Violations of these Guidelines may lead to enforcement under the Terms in addition to any other action allowed by law or policy.
Content moderation and enforcement
Koneksyon and Zanara Labs LLC may, at their sole discretion and with or without notice, remove content, limit features, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, or permanently remove users when reasonably necessary to protect the community, preserve trust, enforce policy, or comply with law.
No obligation to act
Koneksyon does not guarantee that all content or behavior will be reviewed, detected, or acted upon. We are not obligated to monitor all user activity or to take action in every instance. Decisions regarding enforcement are made at our sole discretion.
No guarantee of safety
While Koneksyon implements moderation systems, reporting tools, and safety features, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of these systems, and we do not guarantee that all harmful behavior will be prevented.
Use of data in enforcement
Koneksyon may use profile information, reports, moderation history, behavioral signals, automated detection systems, and other available data to investigate, evaluate, and take enforcement actions under these Guidelines and the Terms of Service.
Premium features
Premium features are designed to enhance the experience, but they do not guarantee visibility, profile exposure, replies, likes, connections, dates, or any particular outcome on the platform.
Off-platform conduct
Koneksyon may consider behavior that occurs outside the platform, including on other services or in real-world interactions, where such conduct creates credible safety, fraud, or trust concerns for users or the platform. Enforcement decisions may be based on both on-platform and off-platform information.
Service availability
Koneksyon is provided subject to availability. Features, limits, design, discovery logic, moderation tools, and subscription benefits may evolve over time as the platform grows.
Repeat or serious violations
Repeated or serious violations may lead to immediate restriction or permanent removal, with or without prior notice, when Koneksyon determines that action is necessary for safety, trust, fraud prevention, or platform integrity.
These examples are not exhaustive
The examples in these Guidelines are illustrative and not exhaustive. Similar conduct, evasive behavior, attempts to work around enforcement, or behavior that undermines safety, respect, authenticity, or trust may also result in action.
Local laws
All users must comply with applicable local, state, national, and international laws when using Koneksyon. Illegal conduct is prohibited even if not specifically listed in these Guidelines.
Report harmful behavior
If you experience or observe conduct that may violate these Guidelines, use the app's reporting and blocking tools or contact support. Reports help us investigate safety concerns, enforce rules, and protect the community.
Review and appeals
Koneksyon may offer limited review or appeal options for certain enforcement decisions. However, we are not obligated to provide appeals or to reverse any enforcement decision. The availability of review does not require Koneksyon or Zanara Labs LLC to change any outcome, and enforcement decisions remain subject to our reasonable discretion.
Scope of these Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to profiles, photos, bios, prompts, messages, reports, support interactions, and other behavior connected to your use of Koneksyon. In some cases, behavior outside the app may also be considered where it creates credible safety, fraud, or trust concerns for the platform or its users.
Law enforcement cooperation
Koneksyon may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, or legal authorities in connection with investigations, safety concerns, or legal obligations, including sharing information where required or permitted by law.
